Click here for info on Hurricaine Isabel. The 5-day forecast looks to be heading right for NE FL / SE GA, but it's still too far out for any real predictions. It is already a category 5 hurricaine (the strongest) and is expected to continue to strengthen until it makes landfall approximately 7-10 days from now.

From a meteorologist friend: "A word about those [computer] models, not sure what to make of the NHC98. But the LBAR is the most accurate model out to 36 hrs. After that, it falls apart.

The GFDL is the one that has been performing the best so far this hurricane season and especially with Isabel."
